On July 29, 2026, the Alrov Center for Digital Medicine presented its first Awards for Outstanding Research Projects to exceptional graduates of the M.Sc. Program in Digital Health at Tel Aviv University.
On July 29, 2026, the Alrov Center for Digital Medicine presented its first awards for outstanding research projects to graduates of the M.Sc. program in Digital Health at Tel Aviv University.
The awards were presented during the program's graduation ceremony, held at the Gray Faculty of Medical & Health Sciences, in the presence of Prof. Hagit Eldar-Finkelman- Medicine Dean & Assoc. Deans, Gray Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, Tel Aviv University, Prof. Elhanan Borenstein, Head of the Alrov Center for Digital Medicine, Prof. David Zeltser, Deputy Director for R&D and Innovation and Director of the Internal Medicine Division at Tel Aviv Sourasky Medical Center (Ichilov), and the heads of the program, Prof. Noam Shomron and Dr. Tal Sofer.
The ceremony featured short presentations by all graduating students, who shared the goals, methods, and key findings of their research projects.
As part of its ongoing support for the M.Sc. Program in Digital Health, the Alrov Center is committed to fostering academic excellence and encouraging innovative research in digital medicine. The Center also supports research opportunities for students through collaborations that provide access to valuable clinical datasets. This year, three students conducted their research using a dedicated clinical database made available through the Center for AI & Data Science at Tel Aviv University (TAD), enabling them to carry out impactful, data-driven research projects.
The 2026 Alrov Center for Digital Medicine awards for outstanding research projects were awarded to:
First Place - Liya Rothschild (Digital Transformation in Health Track)
Second Place - Ethel Kobrin (Data Expert in Health Track)
Third Place - Ittai Mani (Data Expert in Health Track)
The awards recognize outstanding research projects based on their academic excellence, originality, scientific quality, and potential contribution to the advancement of digital health.
